Question 2

What is Quantum Resistant Ledger?

Accepted Answer

Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) is a one-of-a-kind blockchain technology that is aimed at protecting against both classical and quantum computer attacks. Founded by Peter Waterland after extensive research on vulnerabilities in Bitcoin and Ethereum, QRL was launched with a promise to offer \"future-proof\" cryptocurrency. This platform operates based on the Python programming language, creating a more secure environment for transactions and decentralized communication.

Question 3

Who developed the Quantum Resistant Ledger?

Accepted Answer

Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) is the product of Peter Waterland's insight into the potential threats of quantum computing technology to existing cryptocurrencies. Realizing that Bitcoin and Ethereum are susceptible to such threats, Waterland led the development of QRL with a team of experts from around the world, spanning core developers, blockchain experts, mobile developers, analysts, advisors, and many others.

Question 4

How does the Quantum Resistant Ledger function?

Accepted Answer

Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) uses a unique technology called XMSS, specifically designed for post-quantum security. Unlike most cryptocurrencies, the QRL blockchain generates hashes in such a way that it becomes nearly impenetrable against any kind of computer attack. The use of this technology, combined with a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism, helps to safeguard QRL from the threats posed by powerful quantum computers.

Question 5

What makes the Quantum Resistant Ledger stand out?

Accepted Answer

The distinguishing feature of Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) is its futuristic approach. It is the first blockchain technology that has been designed with a focus on long-term stability by providing resistance against potential quantum computer attacks. With the threat of modern blockchain encryption methods becoming vulnerable to quantum computers over the next decade, QRL aims to provide a secure and stable cryptocurrency offering that can withstand these challenges.

Question 6

What's the circulating supply and total supply of Quantum Resistant Ledger?
