Question 1

What is the current price of Okcash (OK)?

Accepted Answer

The current price of Okcash (OK) is $ 0.00335844. Over the past 24 hours, it has increased by +13.38%.

Question 2

What is Okcash (OK)?

Accepted Answer

Created in November 2014, Okcash (OK) is a hybrid, open-source cryptocurrency that is decentralized and established. It was initially mined, employing Proof of Work through Scrypt algorithm which later evolved to be staked using PoS-LTSS-Sha256. This means, unlike Bitcoin which requires miners to validate transactions and add them to the blockchain, Okcash enables coin owners to mine or validate block transactions based on the amount of Okcash they hold and are willing to stake.

Question 3

Who developed Okcash?

Accepted Answer

Okcash is a public project, which means it doesn't have an official owner or controller. It's developed and supported by a community of volunteers who contribute their skills and resources to sustain and improve the network. This community-central approach helps in maintaining the decentralized nature of the cryptocurrency.

Question 4

How does Okcash work?

Accepted Answer

Similar to Bitcoin, Okcash keeps track of all transactions on its network using blockchain technology. However, unlike Bitcoin which uses a Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism, Okcash employs a blend of Proof of Stake (PoS), Long-Term Sustainable Staking (LTSS), and SHA-256 cryptographic algorithm. This allows coin owners to mine or validate block transactions based on the quantity of Okcash they hold and are willing to stake. Therefore, the larger the amount of Okcash staked, the higher the chances of being selected to validate transactions, earning more Okcash as a reward.

Question 5

What makes Okcash special?

Accepted Answer

One of the primary unique traits of Okcash is its hybrid model. It began as a Proof of Work (PoW) cryptocurrency, allowing miners to solve complicated mathematical problems to validate transactions. However, it later evolved to a Proof of Stake (PoS) currency, letting users earn additional coins by holding the existing ones, which they then stake for validation of transactions. This change drastically reduced the energy consumption of the network, making it a more sustainable option in the long-term. Moreover, Okcash has never held an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) or any sort of funding round. It is self-sustaining and operates with the support of volunteers, keeping in line with its commitment to being a truly decentralized currency.

Question 6

How can I buy Okcash (OK)?

Accepted Answer

You can purchase Okcash (OK) from any of the exchanges listed on our site. Please note that, since the world of cryptocurrencies is highly speculative, we strongly advise you to do your research and consider multiple factors before buying.

Question 7

How Is the Okcash Network Secured?

Accepted Answer

Okcash's security protocol comprises a mix of Proof of Stake (PoS), Long-Term Sustainable Staking (LTSS), and SHA-256 encryption. In this model, the stakeholders, or those who hold and are willing to stake Okcash, are responsible for maintaining the network's security. The chances of a stakeholder being chosen to validate transactions and create a new block are proportionate to the amount of Okcash they hold. This model encourages users to hold onto their Okcash, ensuring the network's stability and security.

Question 8

What is the total supply and circulating supply of Okcash?

Accepted Answer

The total supply of Okcash is 105.0M. As for the amount currently in circulation, it's 89.4M.

Question 9

How is Okcash’s Market Performance?

Accepted Answer

The Okcash's market capitalization ranks at #4467 with a market cap of $ 0.3M. In the past 24 hours, the trading volume has been 447.7. As the network continues to evolve, the market metrics may reflect both routine fluctuations as well as the impact of broader trends in the cryptocurrency world. Remember, cryptocurrency investments can be risky, and any investment decisions should be based on careful analysis.
