The same node scale on MultiVAC can achieve more than 10000 times the Transactions Per Second (TPS) compared to bitcoin.

Question 3

What are the unique features of MultiVAC?

Accepted Answer

One important aspect of MultiVAC is its flexible computation model. This model separates transactions and smart contracts/computation, offering a spectrum of Consistency, Availability, and Partition-tolerance (CAP) options for DApps. This ability to choose their own infrastructure of performance and decentralization level offers DApps a unique and flexible platform to operate on. Another significant feature of MultiVAC is its infinite expansion potential. The platform includes an economic model and an efficient free market. Nodes can earn benefits from bookkeeping, computing, and saving. This model encourages increased participation and fosters a strong network effect, thereby translating into continuous expansion of the network.

Question 4

How does MultiVAC work?

Accepted Answer

MultiVAC operates through a unique model that separates transactions and computation. It offers a flexible architecture that allows DApps to use, based on their unique requirements of performance and decentralization level. The nodes on the MultiVAC network participate in both bookkeeping and computing. This dual role not only ensures high efficiency and security of the network but also provides economic benefits to the nodes. This incentivization mechanism encourages more participants to join the network, enhancing its scalability and overall effectiveness.
