Question 1

What is the price of LOCUS Chain (LOCUS) today?

Accepted Answer

The current price of LOCUS Chain (LOCUS) can fluctuate due to market conditions. At present, LOCUS is priced at ADA 0.02253284, with a decreased of -5.23% over the past 24 hours.

Question 2

What Is LOCUS CHAIN (LOCUS)?

Accepted Answer

LOCUS Chain is a blockchain project that focuses on overcoming the common challenges faced by traditional blockchains, namely decentralization, scalability, and security — collectively known as the blockchain trilemma. Locus Chain positions itself as a next-generation Layer 1 Public Blockchain Protocol that leverages patented technologies to achieve full decentralization without compromising on scalability and security. It aims to become the most reliable and efficient platform supporting various applications like DeFi, GameFi, Metaverse, Smart Cities, and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).

Question 3

Who Are the Creators of LOCUS Chain?

Accepted Answer

The creators behind LOCUS Chain include developers formerly associated with the Blueside Engine, known as Korea's first commercial game engine. With a background in console and online game development, these developers bring to the table a wealth of experience and knowledge in handling large-scale network traffic. The team has also acquired several intellectual property rights and patents related to software development over two decades, which contribute to the foundational technology of Locus Chain.

Question 4

How Does Locus Chain Work?

Accepted Answer

Locus Chain operates using a unique data structure called the DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) - AWTC (Account-Wise Transaction Chain). AWTC allows for the creation of a dedicated transaction chain for each account, facilitating immediate transaction verifications and addressing the issue of delayed transaction processing found in other blockchain systems. Its POS - BFT (Proof of Stake - Byzantine Fault Tolerance) Consensus Algorithm ensures a fair and stable consensus result by randomly selecting a proposer committee through a verifiable function.

Question 5

What Makes Locus Chain Unique?

Accepted Answer

Locus Chain's unique selling point lies in its innovative approach to solving the blockchain trilemma. Its special technologies, such as the DAG-AWTC for transaction processing, POS-BFT for consensus, Verifiable Pruning for ledger management, and Dynamic Sharding for network efficiency, all contribute to a blockchain that is both performance-oriented and robust. Furthermore, the simplicity with which users can engage with blockchain verification services without having to develop their blockchain is a key differentiator.

Question 6

What Is Verifiable Pruning in Locus Chain?

Accepted Answer

Verifiable Pruning in Locus Chain is an advanced ledger management technique that allows the deletion of outdated data while still providing full data verification. It utilizes a Skewed Merkle Tree structure to confirm the legitimacy of the data, even when most previous data has been pruned locally. This allows Locus Chain to maintain a smaller ledger size without compromising the integrity of the transaction history.

Question 7

What Is Dynamic Sharding in Locus Chain?

Accepted Answer

Dynamic Sharding is a key part of Locus Chain's technology, aimed at increasing network throughput and storage efficiency. It allows the network to dynamically adjust the number and size of shards, as well as the ratio of validators, to address any imbalance between shards. This reduces the network load on individual nodes and increases the total network TPS.

Question 8

What Is the Circulating Supply of LOCUS?

Accepted Answer

The circulating supply of LOCUS tokens is currently coins. The total supply of LOCUS tokens is capped at 7.0B coins, which helps maintain scarcity and could potentially influence its value over time.

Question 9

Where Can You Buy Locus Chain (LOCUS)?

Accepted Answer

Locus Chain (LOCUS) can be purchased on a variety of cryptocurrency exchanges. The specific exchanges offering LOCUS are KuCoin, GoPax, BitMart, Idax, where you can trade LOCUS against various cryptocurrency pairs. Always ensure to use reputable exchanges and practice safe trading habits.

Question 10

What Are the Future Applications of Locus Chain?

Accepted Answer

Locus Chain is designed to cater to a wide range of sectors such as decentralized finance, real estate transactions, gaming, CBDCs, and even IoT applications including smart cities and smart grids. Considering its high-performance nature, Locus Chain is also exploring technology licensing opportunities in the future.
