How does Honey work?

Accepted Answer

The Honey (HNY) cryptocurrency works on the model of Conviction Voting. In this system, the token holders do not just vote on proposals but stake their tokens on them. Once a proposal gathers enough support, it can proceed. This mechanism ensures that even if a smaller group of holders are passionate about a proposal, it could still gather enough \"conviction\" to pass. This creates a system where varied ideas can flourish and not just the ones backed by a majority. It essentially offers users the power to shape the direction of the platform, resulting in an engaging and participatory ecosystem.
