The price of Epic Cash (EPIC) currently stands at £ 0.64337252. Over the last 24 hours, it has increased by +20.40%. It's essential to remember that cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and can fluctuate widely in a very short period.

Question 2

What Is Epic Cash (EPIC)?

Accepted Answer

Epic Cash (EPIC) is a privacy-oriented cryptocurrency that aims to become a universal medium of exchange with strong privacy features. The project utilizes the MimbleWimble protocol to enhance transaction privacy by ensuring that transaction amounts and participants are obscured. This is achieved without compromising on scalability or speed. Epic Cash emphasizes sound economics and fair distribution, intending to create an accessible currency that can be used by anyone, anywhere.

Question 3

What is the MimbleWimble Protocol?

Accepted Answer

The MimbleWimble protocol is a blockchain design that provides increased privacy and better network scalability by allowing the blockchain to store less data. This is accomplished through a system that combines multiple transactions into a single block, making it nearly impossible to decipher individual transfers. In the case of Epic Cash, MimbleWimble is central to its privacy-preserving capabilities, making transactions confidential and virtually untraceable.

Question 4

What are the key features of Epic Cash?

Accepted Answer

One of the most prominent features of Epic Cash is its focus on privacy, aiming to make transactions untraceable and resistant to censorship or surveillance. Additionally, Epic Cash has taken measures to ensure fair distribution by making its mining process accessible to various hardware types, from high-end GPUs to average CPUs, allowing more people to participate in the mining and validation of transactions.

Question 5

How does Epic Cash work?

Accepted Answer

Epic Cash leverages the cryptographic principles of MimbleWimble, which includes Confidential Transactions and CoinJoin. With Confidential Transactions, the values transferred in a transaction are encrypted by blinding factors, which obscure the amounts involved. CoinJoin pools multiple payments into a single transaction to hide the linkage between sender and receiver. Furthermore, there are no addresses in the MimbleWimble protocol, which makes the flow of funds within the network even less transparent.

Question 6

How Is the Epic Cash Network Secured?

Accepted Answer

The security of the Epic Cash network is upheld using a Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanism, which requires miners to use computational resources to validate transactions and secure the network. The accessibility of Epic Cash mining ensures a wide distribution of miners, which, in turn, helps decentralize network security.

Question 7

How does Epic Cash promote fair distribution?

Accepted Answer

Epic Cash's distribution model is designed to be fair and equitable. The mining process, supported on a variety of devices, means that individuals with less resources can compete effectively with those who have access to more powerful and specialized equipment. This inclusiveness promotes a broad miner base and a decentralized network, which inherently supports fair distribution of the currency.

Question 8

How Much Epic Cash Is in Circulation?

Accepted Answer

As of now, there are 19.3M Epic Cash coins in circulation. The project might have a capped total supply, similar to how Bitcoin has a fixed supply limit, which impacts its scarcity and potential value over time. The total supply information for Epic Cash is 19.3M.

Question 9
