Users can participate in the process of block validation and generation by staking their NRG coins. The more coins staked, the higher the chances of creating a block and earning rewards.

Question 5

What makes Energi unique?

Accepted Answer

Energi's uniqueness stems from its threefold design. Firstly, it employs smart contracts. These digital contracts automatically execute transactions when predefined conditions meet, thus removing the need for a third-party intermediary. Secondly, it offers decentralized governance. Energi users have the power to make decisions that impact the Energi network. This ensures that power is distributed equitably among the community, contributing to a democratic system. Lastly, it comes with a self-funding treasury. A percentage of the mining rewards goes into the treasury. This self-funding mechanism ensures Energi's sustainability and continuous development, thus avoiding the need for external funding or initial coin offerings (ICO).
