Question 4

How does DMD Diamond work?

Accepted Answer

The DMD Diamond coin operates on the world's first blockchain with a cooperative HBBFT (Honey Badger Byzantine Fault Tolerant) consensus supplemented by a dPOS (Delegated Proof of Stake) based validator election. This novel consensus mechanism ensures speedy transaction times and provides a high degree of security. In addition, DMD Diamond is the first blockchain to implement a sustainable reward mechanism with a maximum finite supply of only 4.38 million coins. This strategy paves the way for an indefinite reward structure that can dynamically adjust to the market.

Question 5

What distinguishes DMD Diamond from other cryptocurrencies?

Accepted Answer

DMD Diamond stands out because of its unique blockchain technology and its sustainable reward mechanism. It employs the first-ever blockchain with a cooperative HBBFT consensus supplemented by a dPOS-based validator election, providing a balance between speed and security. Furthermore, DMD v4 is the first blockchain to implement a sustainable and endless reward mechanic with a low maximum finite supply of only 4.38 million coins.

Question 6

However, like with all cryptocurrencies, users are advised to take standard security precautions like using reliable wallets and keeping their private keys safe.

Question 9

How does DMD Diamond's on-chain governance work?

Accepted Answer

The on-chain governance feature of DMD Diamond allows token holders to have a direct say in the direction and development of the project. This is achieved by coin holders voting on various decisions, including adjustments to governance parameters, system upgrades, and even how funds in the DMD treasury are spent. This mechanism has the potential to promote true decentralization and greater transparency in decision-making.

Question 10

How can I keep my DMD Diamonds safe?

Accepted Answer

To keep your DMD Diamonds safe, ensure that you store them in a secure wallet—preferably a hardware wallet which is generally safer than online wallets. Always keep your wallet's private keys secret as losing them might mean losing access to your tokens. Additionally, always double check addresses before sending tokens, use 2-factor authentication, and be wary of phishing attempts. Remember: in the crypto world, security always comes first!
