As of the most recent data, the price of Bytom (BTM) is $ 0.00476847, which represents a +2.82% change in the last 24 hours.
Bytom (BTM) is a blockchain protocol dedicated to bridging the gap between digital assets and traditional assets. It allows individuals or enterprises to register and exchange not only digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies, but also traditional assets like securities, bonds, or even intelligence data. Bytom's mission is "to bridge the atomic [physical] world and the byte [digital] world, to build a decentralized network where various byte assets and atomic assets could be registered and exchanged."
Bytom was launched by a team of Chinese developers in 2017 who envisioned a protocol that would allow for the seamless interoperability between different types of assets. As of now, there is no public information about the founding team members.
Bytom operates as an interactive protocol of multiple byte assets. This means that a variety of digital assets and traditional assets can be registered, exchanged, gambled and engaged in other complex, contract-based interoperations on the Bytom Blockchain. This is unlike many other blockchain technologies that only support the registration and exchange of digital assets.
Bytom stands out for its dedication to bridging the gap between various byte assets and atomic assets, effectively digitising the physical world. It voluntarily submitted to the SEC’s Howey Test, which proved that BTM is not deemed a security. Moreover, Bytom offers low transaction fees and high-tech blockchain technology that can impact the cryptocurrency market significantly.
A Bytom Wallet is offered as a part of the Bytom ecosystem. It is designed to store not just Bytom coins, but a wide range of other digital and traditional assets as well. This makes the wallet a central hub for managing digital and physical assets.
Bytom operates in a three-layer structure. The data interaction and transmission layer, contract layer and asset interaction layer allow for complex operations and interactions to occur between different types of assets.
Currently, the circulating supply of Bytom (BTM) is 1.8B. The total supply of BTM is 2.1B.
Bytom can be purchased on several cryptocurrency exchanges including ZBG, Bibox, CoinEx, BigONE, Gate.io. Please note that cryptocurrency investments carry significant risk and should only be undertaken by those fully informed about the process and risks.
Keeping your Bytom (BTM) or other digital assets safe often involves the use of a cold storage or hardware wallet. These are physical devices that can be disconnected from the internet, significantly reducing the risk of theft from online hackers. Always ensure to use trustworthy platforms to mitigate risks.
